World of Botcraft
Woohoo you made it here! That means you were the chosen one or somebody leaked the address already! :D
Private server with player-alike bots questing, looting and being otherwise active.
Solo friendly dungeons and raids + QoL additions added. Ability to play any class as any race.
Features
- Fully-featured WoTLK 3.3.5a experience, with a twist!
- Start out your journey from level 1-60 just like you would at Vanilla release, with mechanics adjusted and WoTLK catch-up mechanics reverted for increased immersion.
- Single player experience. Dungeons and raids can even be cleared solo if you wish, with difficulty/reward balancing in mind!
- Playerbots! These bots roam around the world, quest and kill mobs, just like random players. The world doesn't feel empty anymore!
- Bots can also join your party/raid group and be fully micro-managed. Bring them with you into raids and unleash hell!
- Alive Auction House! Even without players you can still sell or bid on items.
- Lots of QoL improvements, account-wide mounts, service NPCs, group mob (AoE) looting, group questing!
- Play as any class with any race of choice!
- Hunger and Thirst system. Stay hydrated, folks!
- PTR server to test bleeding edge features!
How to play
- 0. Contact me to obtain an account, assuming I know you.
- 1. Download WoTLK 3.3.5a client either from here or magnet link.
- 2. Unpack the archive, then download the mandatory patch from here as it contains the game's patched executable as well as some tools and the WowLauncher executable.
- 3. Extract all its files into the game folder and overwrite all files.
- 4. (Optional) Download my client QoL pack containing some visual enhancement mods and QoL patches from here
- 5. (Optional) Download one of my addon packs containing useful addons for UI but also bot control and questing from here
- 6. (Optional) Download this HD pack further enhancing the game's visuals here
Make sure to run the game via WowLauncher.exe so it fetches the latest patch data used with this server!!
If you can't run WowLauncher.exe for some reason (Linux users?) then just download Patch-Z.MPQ occasionally and place it under the Data folder.
